New Country Sticks Now Available

Well, it has been a busy time for us at the Stick and Cane Shop over the past few week as we have been adding some fabulous new products to our ever-increasing ranges. One of the lines we have been adding quite a lot to has been our Country Sticks.

The Country Sticks range at the Stick and Cane Shop is wide and very popular range of canes that our customers old and new adore. Whether they are for personal use or for a gift, the traditional bucolic charm that comes from these country sticks makes these canes a wonderful companion for those long relaxing weekend walks in the countryside. The wood and craftsmanship seen in these canes is second to none.

We have recently added some fabulous new rustic canes to our Country Sticks category, particularly our Shepherd’s Crooks range and our Coppice Knob Sticks ranges. Hand Carved Buffalo Horn Shepherd's Crook with Curl

The stylish shepherd's crook stick features a carved buffalo horn handle with curl mounted on a beautiful hazel shaft. This is a long stick that comes to around upper-abdomen height. This beautiful country walking stick is hand made by a local Scottish craftsman. The shaft is made from the traditional country wood, hazel, which is prized for its interesting sheen and colour. The handle is hand carved from Buffalo Horn and the Hazel shaft is lacquered to a beautiful sheen.

The dimensions of the walking stick are:

Length is 127cm
Weight is 412g
The stick diameter at the top just under the handle is aprox 22mm and tapers down to 18mm at the ferrule end.
It is fitted with a rubber ferrule

Applewood Coppice Knob Stick (111cm length)

Beautiful Applewood coppice knob stick with rustic bark shaft. Shorter length (111cm), but other lengths are available. The handle has been polished to a smooth, comfortable finish showing off some fantastic details of the natural wood.

The dimensions of the walking stick are:

The stick diameter at the top just under the handle is aprox 36mm and tapers down to 24mm at the ferrule end.

Hand Carved Ram's Horn Shepherd's Crook - Rainbow Trout

Another beautiful shepherd's crook stick, which features a carved ram's horn handle sculpted into a rainbow trout mounted on a beautiful hazel shaft. This is a long stick that comes to around upper-abdomen height. It has also been hand made by a local Scottish craftsman. The shaft is made from the traditional country wood, hazel, which is prized for its interesting sheen and colour. The handle is hand carved from Ram's Horn and the Hazel shaft is lacquered to a beautiful sheen.

The stick diameter at the top just under the handle is aprox 23mm and tapers down to 19mm at the ferrule end
